| 中文： | 你们中间有彼此相争的事，怎敢在不义的人面前求审，不在圣徒面前求审呢。 |
| 英文： | Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints? |

| 中文： | 岂不知圣徒要审判世界吗。若世界为你们所审，难道你们不配审判这最小的事吗。 |
| 英文： | Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? |

| 中文： | 岂不知我们要审判天使吗。何况今生的事呢。 |
| 英文： | Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life? |

| 中文： | 既是这样，你们若今生的事当审判，是派教会所轻看的人审判吗。 |
| 英文： | If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church. |

| 中文： | 我说这话，是要叫你们羞耻。难道你们中间没有一个智慧人，能审断弟兄们的事吗。 |
| 英文： | I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren? |

| 中文： | 你们竟是弟兄与弟兄告状，而且告在不信主的人面前。 |
| 英文： | But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers. |

| 中文： | 你们彼此告状，这已经是你们的大错了。为什么不情愿受欺呢。为什么不情愿吃亏呢。 |
| 英文： | Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded? |

| 英文： | Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, |

| 中文： | 偷窃的，贪婪的，醉酒的，辱骂的，勒索的，都不能承受神的国。 |
| 英文： | Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. |

| 中文： | 你们中间也有人从前是这样。但如今你们奉主耶稣基督的名，并藉着神的灵，已经洗净，成圣称义了。 |
| 英文： | And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. |

| 英文： | Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body. |

| 英文： | Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. |
