| 英文： | Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him, |

| 英文： | Come, eat of my bread, and drink of the wine which I have mingled. |

| 中文： | 你们愚蒙人，要舍弃愚蒙，就得存活。并要走光明的道。 |
| 英文： | Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding. |

| 中文： | 指斥亵慢人的，必受辱骂。责备恶人的，必被玷污。 |
| 英文： | He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame: and he that rebuketh a wicked man getteth himself a blot. |

| 中文： | 不要责备亵慢人，恐怕他恨你。要责备智慧人，他必爱你。 |
| 英文： | Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee. |

| 中文： | 教导智慧人，他就越发有智慧。指示义人，他就增长学问。 |
| 英文： | Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning. |

| 中文： | 敬畏耶和华，是智慧的开端。认识至圣者，便是聪明。 |
| 英文： | The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. |

| 中文： | 你藉着我，日子必增多，年岁也必加添。 |
| 英文： | For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased. |

| 中文： | 你若有智慧，是与自己有益。你若亵慢，就必独自担当。 |
| 英文： | If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: but if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it. |

| 英文： | A foolish woman is clamorous: she is simple, and knoweth nothing. |
