英文: | There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. |

英文: | And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? |

英文: | I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. |

中文: | 从前西罗亚楼倒塌了,压死十八个人,你们以为那些人比一切住在耶路撒冷的人更有罪吗。 |
英文: | Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? |

英文: | I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. |

中文: | 于是用比喻说,一个人有一棵无花果树,栽在葡萄园里。他来到树前梢果子,却找不着。 |
英文: | He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. |

中文: | 就对管园的说,看哪,我这三年,来到这无花果树前梢果子,竟找不着,把他砍了吧。何必白占地土呢。 |
英文: | Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? |

中文: | 管园的说,主阿,今年且留着,等我周围掘开土,加上粪。 |
英文: | And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: |

中文: | 以后若结果子便吧。不然再把他砍了。 |
英文: | And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down. |

英文: | And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath. |

中文: | 有一个女人,被鬼附着病了十八年。腰弯得一点直不起来。 |
英文: | And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. |

中文: | 耶稣看见,便叫过他来,对他说,女人,你脱离这病了。 |
英文: | And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. |

中文: | 于是用两双手按着他。他立刻直起腰来,就归荣耀与神。 |
英文: | And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God. |

中文: | 管会堂的,因为耶稣在安息日治病,就气忿忿的对众人说,有六日应当作工。那六日之内,可以来求医,在安息日却不可。 |
英文: | And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day. |

中文: | 主说,假冒为善的人哪,难道你们各人在安息日不解开槽上的牛驴,牵去饮吗。 |
英文: | The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering? |

英文: | Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it? |

中文: | 好像一粒芥菜种,有人拿去种在园子里。长大成树,天上的飞鸟,宿在他的枝上。 |
英文: | It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it. |

英文: | And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God? |

英文: | It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened. |

英文: | And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem. |

英文: | Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. |

中文: | 及至家主起来关了门,你们站在外面叩门,说,主阿,给我们开门,他就回答说,我不认识你们,不晓得你们是那里来的。 |
英文: | When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: |
