| 中文： | 劝老年人，要有节制，端庄，自守，在信心爱心忍耐上，都要纯全无疵。 |
| 英文： | That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience. |

| 中文： | 又劝老年妇人，举止行动要恭敬，不说谗言，不给酒作奴仆，用善道教训人。 |
| 英文： | The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; |

| 中文： | 好指教少年妇人，爱丈夫，爱儿女， |
| 英文： | That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, |
| 第5段 | |
| 中文： | 谨守贞洁，料理家务，待人有恩，顺服自己的丈夫，免得神的道理被毁谤。 |
| 英文： | To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. |

| 中文： | 又劝少年人要谨守。 |
| 英文： | Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded. |

| 中文： | 你自己凡事要显出善行的榜样，在教训上要正直，端庄， |
| 英文： | In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, |

| 中文： | 言语纯全，无可指责，叫那反对的人，既无处可说我们的不是，便自觉羞愧。 |
| 英文： | Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you. |

| 中文： | 劝仆人要顺服自己的主人，凡事讨他的喜欢。不可顶撞他。 |
| 英文： | Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again; |

| 中文： | 不可私拿东西。要显为忠诚，以致凡事尊荣我们救主神的道。 |
| 英文： | Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things. |

| 中文： | 因为神救众人的恩典，已经显明出来， |
| 英文： | For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, |

| 中文： | 教训我们除去不敬虔的心，和世俗的情欲，在今世自守，公义，敬虔度日。 |
| 英文： | Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; |

| 中文： | 等候所盼望的福，并等候至大的神，和（或作无和字）我们救主耶稣基督的荣耀显现。 |
| 英文： | Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; |

| 中文： | 他为我们舍了自己，要赎我们脱离一切罪恶，又洁净我们，特作自己的子民，热心为善。 |
| 英文： | Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. |

| 中文： | 这些事你要讲明，劝戒人，用各等权柄责备人。不可叫人轻看你。 |
